The educational program of the Hillsborough Township School District is one of rigor, relevance, and high expectations. The student community is comprised of approximately 7300 students and 1000 faculty and staff members K-12 in six elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school, and one high school. Hillsborough Township Schools support active learning and achievement. The Board of Education supports a comprehensive and challenging academic curriculum that is currently revised on a five-year revision cycle.

Students enrolled in the Hillsborough Township School District are exposed to a variety of curriculum offerings and learning opportunities including language arts literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as health and physical education, visual and performing arts and their choice of world language (Spanish, Italian, German, French, Chinese, and Latin).

Special education programs are available for students requiring individualized educational opportunities which include related services from members of the child study team, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and language services.
