Age Requirements for Kindergarten and First Grade:
Children admitted to kindergarten must be five years of age on or before October 1 of the year they enter kindergarten. There are no exceptions to this policy.
A child is eligible for entrance into first grade who will have attained the age of six years on or before October 1 of the year in which entrance is sought or has completed the kindergarten program of the district or equivalent program elsewhere and has been recommended by the district principal for advancement to first grade.

Registration Completion
Please make sure you complete the entire district registration to ensure your child’s proper placement in kindergarten and transportation is arranged.
Please remember that your child must be five years old on or before October 1st of the year they are entering Kindergarten. There are no exceptions to this policy.
