General Information
Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary.
There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage.
How to Participate
Challenge papers will be available in the MCP folder outside Room 200 or copies can be found online and printed out at home.
Students need to write their first AND last name along with their teacher’s name on the challenge papers and return completed work to the MCP Submissions folder outside Room 200 by the due date.
Grade level solving requirements:
2ND and 3RD: solve at least 7 PROBLEMS
4TH: solve at least 12 PROBLEMS.
If students get the minimum grade level requirement of problems correct, they will receive a RAFFLE TICKET to enter a MATH GOODY BAG drawing after each challenge and make an appearance on a Math Monday morning announcement!
Students must SHOW WORK (when applicable) and ATTACH IT to the challenge papers to receive credit for each event.
If students complete at least 10 CHALLENGES, they will receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the school year.
